About the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO)

What is RMO?

The Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) is the second stage of the Indian Olympiad Programme in Mathematics (after IOQM). It serves as the gateway to INMO and further stages of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

Who conducts it?

RMO is organized by the Mathematical Olympiad Cell (HBCSE, TIFR) in collaboration with regional coordinators across India.

Eligibility

• Students of Classes 8–12 who qualify through IOQM are eligible
• Each region has its own cutoff & selection process
