NMTC Stage-2 – 42-Hour Power Prep is a focused live-learning program designed to provide qualified students with intensive preparation for the National Mathematics Talent Contest (NMTC) Stage-2.
The program is specially structured for:
Bhaskara: Classes 9–10
Ramanujan: Classes 11–12
Across 42 focused hours, students work through key areas of Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory and Combinatorics, while developing the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to tackle challenging NMTC-style questions.
Algebra: Quadratic and Higher degree Algebraic equations, Remainder theorem, Logarithms, Sequences and series, Scales of notations, Mathematical Induction, Basic inequalities. Polynomials, inequalities, (C-S inequality), Functional equations
Geometry: Circle theorems, Chords, Arcs, Angles in segments, Cyclic Quadrilaterals, Tangents, Alternate Segment theorem, intersecting chord theorem, Apollonius theorem, and Stewart’s theorem, Complex number methods may be used.
Number Theory: Modular arithmetic, Greatest Integer function, least integer functions. Fermat and Wilson theorem, Diophantine equations.
Combinatorics: Fundamental principle of counting, Basics of permutations and combinations, Principle of inclusion and exclusion, Pigeon-hole principle, Counting techniques, Recurrence relations.
The NAX NMTC Excellence Program is suitable for:
1. NMTC Stage-2 Qualified Students
Students who have qualified for NMTC Stage-2 in the Bhaskara (Classes 9–10) or Ramanujan (Classes 11–12) category.
2. Future NMTC Aspirants
Students preparing for future NMTC examinations who want to build an advanced mathematical foundation.
3. Olympiad Mathematics Enthusiasts
Students looking to strengthen their mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills for higher-level mathematics competitions such as RMO/INMO and other Olympiad examinations.
Students should have a basic understanding of:
Live Interactive Classes + Worksheets + Lecture Notes + Mock Tests
Get a structured learning experience combining concept building, guided problem solving, practice material, and assessment.
