What is NTSC?
About NTSC Scholarships (Narayana Talent Scholarship Competition):
NTSC is a national-level scholarship competition launched in 2024 by Narayana Group, targeting students in Classes 5 to 11 (Science Stream) with the aim to identify, motivate, and nurture field talent through a pioneering Cognitive Learning Index (CLI) assessment—mapping knowledge application and retention for competitive exams.
Scholarship Benefits
Cash Scholarship: ₹5,000 per month for successful NTSC Scholar title winners (upon admission into Yearlong Classroom Course for 2026–27)
Fee Waiver: Up to 90% waiver on course fees
Scholarship Pool:
- Cash: Up to ₹6 Crore
- Fee Scholarships: Up to ₹55 Crore
Competition Structure
NTSC (Merit) Round
Tests:
- 5 Online Tests (27–31 October 2025); Fee: ₹100 per test
- 2 Offline Tests (2 & 9 November 2025); Fee: ₹200 per test
- Repeatable attempts allowed for each test
Qualifying Criteria:
- Score 80%+ in any test to proceed to Scholar Round
Fee Scholarships:
- Up to 90% waiver for offline exams
- Up to 30% waiver for online exams
- Candidates can choose the best waiver earned
NTSC (Scholar) Round
Selection:
- Top 10 percentile in offline Scholar test → called for online interview
Interview Focus:
- Scientific aptitude, core concepts, practical applications of science in daily life, IQ assessment
- Mode: Online or offlinet
Rewards::
- ₹5,000/month scholarship, transferred during Yearlong Classroom Course (2026–27 session)
- Fee waiver from Merit Round is also valid for Scholars
About NTSC
- NTSC (Narayana Talent Scholarship Competition) is a scholarship exam for students of class 5 to 11 launched by Narayana Group in 2024
- The primary objective of NTSC is to identify, motivate and nurture the sincere & talented students
- NTSC has tests in two rounds i.e. NTSC (Merit) Round and NTSC (Scholar) Round
- NTSC is first original Cognitive Learning Index (CLI) assessment test. CLI indicates the brain mapping of student’s knowledge application & memory retention for success in goal based competitive exams
NTSC (Merit) Round
- Selection: This round consists of 05 Online Tests and 02 Offline Tests (An applicant can attempt as many tests as he/she wishes by paying applicable fee for each test)
- Qualifying Criteria: Candidates with a score of 80% and above in any of the tests of NTSC (Merit) Round will only be eligible to appear in NTSC (Scholar) Round
- Fee Scholarships: Fee Scholarship in the Yearlong Classroom Course of session 2026-27 at Narayana Coaching Center will be awarded based on performance in NTSC (Merit) Round
- Upto 90% fee scholarship based on performance in the Offline Tests
- Upto 30% fee scholarship based on performance in the Online Tests
- An applicant can opt highest fee scholarship obtained by him/her in NTSC (Merit) round for admission in Yearlong Classroom Course of 2026-27 at Narayana Coaching Center
NTSC (Scholar) Round
- Selection: This round consists of 01 Offline Test & 01 Online Interview for the eligible candidates
- Qualifying Criteria: (a) Candidates in Top-10 percentile of each class at national level in NTSC (Scholar) Round Offline Test will be called for an individual Online Interview (b) NTSC (Scholar) title will be awarded based on the above individual Online Interview performance only

Note:
(a) The Online Interview would consist questions on Scientific Aptitude, Understanding of Core Concepts, Practical Application of Science in Daily Life and IQ Assessment (The level of questions will be at par with the current class of the candidates).
(b) Interview can be conducted in online or offline mode
- Certificate: A wooden framed NTSC (Scholar) certificate will be awarded to all of the NTSC (Scholar) title winners
- Monthly Scholarships: A Monthly Scholarship of Rs. 5000/- will be awarded to those NTSC (Scholar) title winners who would take admission in the Yearlong Classroom Course in academic session 2026-27 at Narayana Coaching Center
- The above Monthly Scholarship will be transferred directly in the bank account of the student while he/she is studying in the Yearlong Classroom Course in academic session 2026-27 at Narayana Coaching Center & fulfilling the terms & conditions
- Fee Scholarships: NTSC Scholars will also avail the fee scholarship earned in NTSC (Merit) Round
Dates & Fee of NTSC Scholarships 2026
NTSC (Merit) Round
- Online Test: NTSC (Merit) Round has 05 Online Tests in the date window of 27th to 31st October 2025 in which a candidate can take as many tests as he/she wishes by paying a separate test fee of Rs. 100/- per test.
- Offline Test: NTSC (Merit) Round has 02 Offline Tests on 02nd & 09th November 2025 and an applicant can take one or both tests by paying a separate test fee of Rs. 200/- per test.
- The offline test dates are city and test center specific.
- Results will be declared in the Third week of November 2025.
NTSC (Scholar) Round
- NTSC (Scholar) Round consists of 01 Offline Test & 01 Individual Online Interview for the eligible candidates.
- The Offline Test of NTSC (Scholar) Round will be conducted in 1st week of April 2026 and the date will be announced in the last week of March 2026.
- The Individual Online Interviews of NTSC (Scholar) Round will be conducted between April to June 2026.

NTSC Scholarships 2026
NTSC (Narayana Talent Scholarship Competition) is a national-level scholarship test by Narayana Group for students of Class 5 to 11 (Science).
Students from Class 5 to 11 (Science stream) are eligible to apply.
Students can win ₹5000/month cash scholarships and up to 90% fee waivers.
NTSC has two stages – Merit Round and Scholar Round.
It includes 5 online and 2 offline tests; scoring 80%+ qualifies you for the Scholar Round.
It includes 1 offline test and 1 online interview to award NTSC Scholar title and benefits.
Online tests: Oct 27–31, 2025; Offline tests: Nov 2 & Nov 9, 2025.
₹100 per online test and ₹200 per offline test.

Merit Round results will be announced in the second week of November 2025.
