Course Description

RMO Blitz is a power-packed 36-hour crash course designed to help aspiring mathletes crack the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) with confidence and precision. This course is built for serious students in Classes 8–12 who already have a strong math foundation and now need the final edge to boost their problem-solving skills, master Olympiad strategies, and face RMO-level challenges head-on.

About the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO)

What is RMO?

The Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) is the second stage of the Indian Olympiad Programme in Mathematics (after IOQM). It serves as the gateway to INMO and further stages of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO).

Who conducts it?

RMO is organized by the Mathematical Olympiad Cell (HBCSE, TIFR) in collaboration with regional coordinators across India.

Eligibility

• Students of Classes 8–12 who qualify through IOQM are eligible
• Each region has its own cutoff & selection process

Exam Pattern

• Duration: 3 hours
• Format: Subjective, proof-based questions
• Number of Questions: Typically 6
• Syllabus: Pre-college mathematics, no calculus—covers Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry, Combinatorics
